We currently have a long-term contract opportunity for an experienced J2EE developer interested in working on a large Jive integration project. Primarily, you’ll be responsible for creating/customizing web services to spec that extend Jive’s API. Daily responsibilities also include providing architectural insight to customized components, status updates, source versioning and building.
We’re looking for a team player that can work hand-in-hand with developers and designers in a multi-disciplinary environment, to help us make our technical and creative visions a reality.

KEY STUFF
- Experience building super-high quality consumer web application interfaces
- Working experience with HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSL, JSON, Ajax
- Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility
- Great written/verbal communication skills
- A desire to provide recommendations for generally make things better
- GUI design experience with Photoshop or other applications
- Understanding of the principles behind web, application, mail and database servers
